DBU ratings per instance (incl. Photon) and $/DBU list rates come from the databricks.com pricing data; classic $/DBU on AWS is the same in every region. VM prices are EC2 on-demand Linux (shared tenancy) list prices from the JSON behind AWS's EC2 On-Demand pricing page, cross-checked against the AWS Price List bulk API. Prices refresh daily. Not included: storage/disks (EBS or Persistent Disk), networking/NAT/egress, Savings Plans, reserved/committed-use discounts, spot/preemptible VMs, and negotiated Databricks discounts.
